Wooden bother is a carpentry company based in West Cork and headed by Tadhg Slevin. Taking what many would treat as waste, Tadhg uses reclaimed wood to not only craft bespoke furniture, but to build art installations and create set pieces. However, much as he is an excellent craftsman, building a marketing strategy and brand identity was where he lacked the skills. As Wooden Bother already had it’s USP in using reclaimed wood, when Tadgh came to me it was obvious that I needed to reflect this in the branding. This was crucial, as it would be important to reflect his creative carpentry in his website, business cards, letter heads and other stationary to promote the company as unique. I worked with him to create a recognisable and distinct logo that Wooden Bother was happy to identify with and went on to develop an online presence for Tadhg, acting as a consultant on how he could manage and update his website and social media outlets on a regular basis. Now, with everything in place, we’ve found that for this bespoke carpentry company, people wood, in fact, bother.
