THE JOB

Darklight Film Festival promotes independent creativity in Ireland.
Initially working as a videographer, I carried out recce’s and shot footage of areas of Dublin that showed little-known architectural gems.
I then compiled and edited this footage with a colourful approach. Influenced by the Beatles movie, Yellow Submarine, I illustrated over the buildings for a creeping whimsical effect. 

The following year, as a skeleton crew, we took a different approach. Our team of two captured everything Darklight stands for: engaging with speakers, contributors and the general public in an open and shared creative environment.

The Darklight festival then suddenly disappeared for a couple of years - only to return with a reboot  where I got the opportunity to design booklets, leaflets and posters this time round.
