THE JOB

Everybody loves discussing the ins and outs on the topic of security software and data protection, right?

...Not so much.

On this project myself and my team were given a free reign to "just get people to understand what we do" through video. Our initial hurdle? We weren't sure ourselves what PixAlert did.

Provided with a lot of convoluted jargon, it was a challenge to write an engaging video script that provided all of the necessary information in a way that people could understand and would actually watch until the end. Let alone purchase the product.

The solution? Visual metaphor.

Creating a likeable "little dude" character in a recognisable situation, we captured the essence of PixAlert. Being lost at sea when it comes to protecting yourself against the dangers of outside elements is tough. In the form of a life-ring and lighthouse PixAlert helps protect you (and your company) from these outside elements (of data breaches). The simple graphics helped to effectively communicate a subject that can often seem impossible to get your head around.
